Project Updates: What’s New At MiLar
As 2022 nears its end, we’re starting to look forward to the year ahead! The MiLar team has tackled some incredible projects this year, and reflecting on what we’ve created has only made us more eager for what’s to come. To share our excitement here’s a sneak peek of a few design and build projects we have in the works.
In-Progress Design Projects
Highview Avenue No. 2
This gorgeous home is undergoing a total redesign. With a focus on the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, we plan to welcome a fresh take on the traditional Spanish design without sacrificing the original charm of the home. Drawing inspiration from classic Majolica terracotta tiles and a bright, airy floorplan, we’re excited to give this Colonial Spanish-Style home a 21st-century refresh.
Hillside Road
A mid-century modern dream, complete with clean lines, timeless kitchen cabinetry, a plethora of bright colors, and one-of-a-kind artistic details throughout. This full remodel aims to bring a true mid-century style to life, enhanced with high-quality modern materials to last for years to come.
Rosemont Boulevard
We love breathing new life into an existing space, and that’s precisely what this home edit entails. To reinvigorate this traditional-style family home, we’re adding modern cabinetry in the kitchen, boho-chic tilework in the bathrooms, and unique light fixtures throughout. Our Rosemont Boulevard project is truly an entertainer's dream!
Santa Inez Way
A recently completed design, we planned this ADU to blend seamlessly with the existing Craftsman-style home it’s attached to. Taking care to design the roofline, trim, and window frames to match those of the existing home, we elevated the space with warm, rustic detailing throughout and a splash of color to let our client’s unique style shine.
Build Projects Under Way
Bellaire Drive
Our clients wanted a traditional yet modern update to their kitchen and bathroom. Installing sleek countertops in both rooms and utilizing tilework to create visual interest, Bellaire Drive is a minimalist-modern project that truly inspires. Chic pendant lighting and gold hardware will tie this space together, creating a delightful and contemporary home for our client.
Grand Oaks
With this remodel in progress, we’re infusing the kitchen and laundry room with European-inspired charm to bring a soft, country-modern aspect to this quaint home. Complete with wooden elements, soft earth tones, and ample natural lighting, we’re excited to create a cozy and inviting end result.
Highview Avenue
If there’s one thing we love, it’s a pop of color. Celebrating the unconventional choice of rich green cabinetry and patterned ceramic tiles, this kitchen remodel is truly a design dream. We’re going outside the box even more by installing contrasting backsplash—forest green on one wall, dusty gray on the other, with a wooden center island to tie it all together.
Williams
Last but certainly not least, our endeavor to more than double the size of this 650-square-foot modern-traditional home. After constructing a 750-square-foot addition and revamping an existing ADU to bring it up to code, the transformation of this home will be significant!
