Fay Place

A 1,111-SQUARE FOOT ENGLISH REVIVAL BUNGALOW TUCKED INTO A PASADENA CUL-DE-SAC NEEDED A FRESH BATHROOM THAT STILL HELD ON TO THE ORIGINAL SPANISH STYLE OF THIS 1926 HOME.

A beautiful archway over the standing shower was an architectural feature the client wasn’t willing to lose in the redesign of this space.

Working as a team, we were able to not only incorporate the archway, but design it as a focal point of the room, combining the shower with the tub, and creating a private nook for the toilet using the old standing shower space.
